With more than 365 mosques, centuries old adobe architecture, and remnants of ancient food forest systems running to this day, it is understandable why it was declared the Capital of Islamic Culture in 2010 - and it makes for an exceptional location for this course and new institute.

They will cover all of the standard topics comprising the PDC curriculum as well as feature a visit to the World Heritage-listed adobe city of Shibam along with a 4-day cultural visit to the town of the Prophet Hudd, whose annual visit has a documented history of over 1500 years.
