Project Natural farm la Scoscesa

So I've been around a while on permies.com and that seemed the best place to share the project I submitted for the PDC online with Geoff Lawton. I see many flwas and things I could have done better. I think I'll write some updates, and of course share the real world achievements I gain. 

One thing is design and another is putting all together on the field. Time will tell me how thing are going.

A part from going more in detail in some sections, another step will be translating it all in Italian so my local community con reasd it too, and nobody is put aside.

We have to work for creating a local network.

Cindy Madou : Looks like a great project in a beautiful region. Especially liked the idea of the zone 1-4 as a nursery and the acorn solution for the gluten problem. Good luck with the farm.

Ilke Pedersen-Beyst : Lovely project, Lorenzo! We know the beautiful area well having spent some holidays near to San Donato (while living in Rome, yes I speak a basic Italian ;-) ). I still long for the taste of wild fennel! Lucky you! I loved the innovative way of harvesting olives with an undergrowth in place! Will there not be a zone 5? Maybe a wildlife corridor or boundary? Just thinking of the potential you have to give wild species a little extra habitat ;-) Good luck with realizing this wonderful dream! Ciao. Ilke

Lorenzo Costa : Thanks Corey!, Yes Ilke in rality the proerty is divided in two the second section didn't get in the project. there its only forest with beautiful big trees that will be zone 5, I'll give some updates when some things will fall in place and it will be complete as a project
