My name is Nathan Love. I'm a disabled U.S. Army veteran with combat tours in Kosovo and Iraq. After the military I attended formal gunsmith college and went to work for the military in Iraq and Afghanistan as a contractor.

My introduction to permaculture is largely credited to Jack Spirko and The Survival Podcast. From his show, I learned what permaculture is, what it can do, and was inspired to change my life's work to this new-found passion.

In 2014 I started a business in Central Florida. PermEscapes is an integration of ethics-driven permaculture design integrated with cutting edge technology to create beautiful lifetime systems. I'm currently (Spring 2014) attending Geoff Lawton's online PDC to achieve my Permaculture Design Certification. My goals are to train others in permaculture, and to function as a designer for my business. With our company utilizing permaculture ethics and principles coupled with StoneMakers hardscaping products, we believe we can accomplish great feats of beauty and abundance in designed systems and projects.
