About Kinch Reindl

I'm an energetic fellow who learned about permaculture from Jack Spirko in 2011.

Since then we acquired 20 acres on the high plains east of Denver Colorado in 2012 and planted a food forest in 2013 behind two woody Swales. The project expanded this year to include a second food forest with 30 fruit trees, 1000 asparagus plants, 50 plus nut trees and a wind row of over 150 seedlings.

The plan for the farm is to have productive farm to showcase designs that work in this environment as well as to have a place for people to learn how to farm with hands on experience.

Updates

Planted Garlic and added tow Miniature Hereford Heifers

This fall we planted 50 pounds of hard neck garlic to see how it likes the soil at the farm. We also now have two miniature hereford heifers who are doing their best to improve the soil with their manure.
