I have always Tried to have a vegetable garden wherever I have lived & save its seeds. I have a trade certificate & have worked a variety of jobs in Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection. I also have a Cert IV in Training & Assessment that has had limited use.
I also have a close association with our local Men's Shed.

I stumbled across Permaculture books in the garden section of my local library in the early 90s & incorporated some of its principals in my lifestyle.
I followed our local Permaculture Guild closely but never had enough time to participate. I was recently asked if I would like to do a PDC at a reasonable cost a chance to good to miss !

During my PDC I became aware that our Guild needed help to organize some training workshops so I have now joined Ballarat Permaculture Guilds management committee & am helping organize some Education & Events. I hope to soon buy more land so that I can have more than chooks & Bees. I will also consider planting anything I can get to grow except Nettles.
