I have been in the 'green' industry for 25 years in which I have been the owner of TWIG Horticultural Consulting LLC in Concord NH and currently the owner of The Way It Grows in Eastport, Maine. Aside from a degree in horticulture, I am an Accredited Organic Land Care Professional through NOFA and a Maine Certified Sustainable Landscaper through the Maine Landscape Association.

After receiving my AOLCP, my interests changed to permaculture. In 2008, my husband and I bought a piece of land in Pembroke Maine which we started to develop a permaculture farm last year. This farm is going to evolve into a teaching tool for others. Having done my PDC in NH, and now residing in Maine, I will be teaching a PDC course next summer in Trescot at the Cobscook Community Learning Center.

Our design company is an organic sustainable consult, design, install and maintenance company in Eastport Maine, where I now reside with my husband. We are currently developing both our home and our farm in Pembroke and hope to be well on our way to being self sufficient next season.
