After years as an English teacher, working abroad, I developed an interest in gardening that was furthered via a trip through Central and South America. During that trip, I became a practitioner of permaculture and began building gardens and spreading ideas through both work and volunteering. It has most definitely become a way of life for me, and my wife Emma, who is a huge and integral part of each adventure and endeavor.
