I recently went on a 7-month tour of the U.S., interning at a couple farms in the South through WWOOF (total of 3 months) and working with community gardens, political movement (Ron Paul, Green Party, Occupy), and spreading the general message of the "Transition."

I have been able to cover my cost of living by providing labor at local farms, however, I haven't had a lot of extra funds for even covering transportation to local projects/events, let alone to contribute and help expand efforts locally and globally.
