Alley Cropping

We run an alley cropping system; composed of leguminous trees, hibiscus and Amora, a kind of berry, as the trees lins; and in between the tree lines we plant grains and sometimes gardens. Here the irrigation system is running to avoid frost damage.

The building on the back was the first building on the farm; where we "landed" our trailer.  For the first 4 years we have lived only on solar Power. The system begun with 2 120W PV's; and then grew up to a 6 x 120W PV's.
