Project Description

Sintesa+, your partner for sustainable solutions

More and more people start to realize that our current way of living is creating many problems. That the climate is changing becomes quite obvious to everyone. The pollution of the air, land and water is causing huge problems every day.  The use of antibiotics, pesticide and herbicide in our food production are the cause for many health problems.  Through soil erosion there is less and less land suitable for growing food. Not only has our personal life become busier and more stressful, it feels like we have lesser and lesser control over it. The governments and corporations are setting the rules and it seems we cannot do much else then follow them. And then there is the financial crisis, which also does not make us having more confidence in what is to come.

If you follow the news on all those issues it might seem that the future is not something to look forward to and it feels like we cannot do much about it.

But this only seems that way. We can do a lot about it. We can take our life back in our own hands.

We can grow our food organic, we can build houses more appropriate for our own health and needs in an environmentally friendly way, we can use energy more efficiently, we can live more in balance with nature, and so on. That is what more and more people are doing at this moment. Also the organisations and companies who want to stay successful are reorganising themselves to work way more environmentally friendly and increase the involvement of the employees while their work satisfaction is optimised.

But it is not always so easy to make those changes on your own. Sometimes you need a little help to get on your way.

So:
Do you also have the feeling things need to change in your life, organisation or company, but you do not know how to do it?
You want to live or work more sustainably but you do not know where to start?
Do you have a balcony, garden or a bit of land and you want to grow your own food in a sustainable way but you do not know how to begin?
Do you already have some plans but you do not know how to work them out?
Or do you have any other question about changes you want to make?

Then contact Sintesa+ and we will make an appointment in which we can find out how we can assist you in creating a sustainable future for you, your organisation or company.

Legend of Badges

Note: The various badges displayed in people profiles are largely honesty-based self-proclamations by the individuals themselves. There are reporting functions users can use if they know of blatant misrepresentation (for both people and projects). Legitimacy, competency and reputation for all people and projects can be evidenced and/or developed through their providing regular updates on permaculture work they’re involved in, before/after photographs, etc. A spirit of objective nurturing of both people and projects through knowledge/encouragement/inspiration/resource sharing is the aim of the Worldwide Permaculture Network.

PRI Teacher

With the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable.

PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows.
