We are using Permaculture to design our 10 acre homestead.

Swales and pattern ploughing are about to start this afternoon at Valley VIew.  Regenerating the old pig paddocks and improving water holding and runnoff are the main priorities.  We are using a mix of machinary, pigs and people to do the earth work. More to follow.

In each case water was being limited in its flow by developement or the removal natural structures that diffuse its energy.
