I live in a tiny town in Michigan, USA with my wife and two children. We love playing outside!
Our property abuts an industrial ag farm, and I was concerned about sprays drifitng onto the property, and the high nitrate concentration of the water causing blue baby syndrome when we brought home our second child from the hospital. This launched us into vermiculture and vermicompost, which inevitably lead to permaculture and regenerative agriculture.
Now we have a nursery business selling useful trees like chestnuts, koreans stone pine, saskatoon, and siberian pea shrub called Legacy Polycultures. We also have 8 acres devoted to a regenerative orchard, 9 acres silvopasture with eventual conversion to orchard, and 10 acres of managed woodlot.
