After learning to weave from local Aboriginal elders i made this little basket.

Here we turned the original raised garden beds into a beautiful Shade House, one of my favorite places in the garden.

Apricots, Nectarines, and Peaches. Fresh fruit, sun dried fruit, and also made into jams.

Here we turned the old rain water tank and un used back corner into the chicken coop with new tank which also supplies rain water to the lean to room off the garage.

I once made Palm Oil from the flesh and seeds of the fruit from my Queen Palm Tree, it was beautiful on the skin. Although the flesh is very sticky it dosnt taste that bad, its actually pretty sweet.

We had a great time sheet mulching our very first veggie bed! The kids loved every moment and my husband was a real farmer for a day :-) It was a great experience and gave me a lot of confidence...Other things on the agenda now, would be making more veggie beds by sheet mulching, better this time...
