The garden is in the 2nd year of development and is loosely based on a mandalla style garden. Beds have been raised with cow manure. I have made a couple of hugelkator beds to see if they work in my local environment.
Out of the crops planted, the most pleasing results have been with zuchinis and melons. Asparagus is going okay but not really producing. Jerusalum Artichokes appear to be hardy and growing well and will harvest in a month or so. Potatoes are similar.
Tomatoes not flowering or producing crop, growth very good, if a little low and stunted - this is probably due to the high winds hitting the crop. Cows seem to enjoy the foliage as well.
