Volunteer opportunity and apprenticeship in Parque Bambú - Ecuador

Posted by Piet Sabbe over 9 years ago

Interested in volunteering in a subtropical area of Ecuador? Or you want to learn about Permaculture?

Two types of commitment are offered in Bosque de Paz / Parque Bambú:

 1) “Room and Board in Exchange for Work” (type WWOOF or Workaway), a commitment of at least 3 months, only for those who can proof a solid work experience in Permaculture, Agroforestry or Organic Gardening. Interested parties should send me their profile. It is important to me to know the people I welcome in my house and I work with.

2) Apprenticeship or internship for those interested in learning the principles of Permaculture, while carrying out diverse activities in the farm, such as planting trees, grafting on fruit trees, planting signs for the trails, digging irrigation swales, swinging the machete and harvest bamboo and bananas. Or making biol, setting up compost piles and watering pineapple, arazá and pitahaya plants. A fee is charged for food and accommodation. For details, write to bospasforest[at]gardener.com
