Recently I had the pleasure of working with Bambu Colectivo (https://www.facebook.com/BambuCollectivo/ ). In this workshop I camped for a few days in his lot and learned how to pick, cut and treat Bamboo as well as how to make Esterillas, which is used to make wall panels amongst other things. There is a lot to learn in regards to Bamboo but Marcos is a really capable teacher and his teaching method is very thorough. I expect to return soon to continue the learning process.

I exhort everyone to join Bambu Colectivo and to take part on his next workshop. It is of extreme importance that we partake in this building method. We cannot continue building inefficient and expensive concrete houses and supporting the very destructive construction industry.
