Join us on this 5 day course introducing you to a holistic transformation to deep ecological awareness following the principles and pathways of Permaculture and Deep Ecology. In summery, the prime directive of the course will be to expose participants to a deep experience following the 3 aspects of deep ecology to manifest a major shift in how they perceive the world that exists around us. This will provide the formation and acceptance of a new, enlightened, ecological world view ( ecosophy ). We will then be pursuing an understanding of wholeness and its complexity before embracing the design science of permaculture as probably one of the best examples we have of creating a society truly based on regenerative principles.
The course will cover and ask questions about Permaculture and it's principles, Deep Ecology and its principles, Social and cultural issues, thinking in systems, symbiosis and systems theory. It will introduce Permaculture design process and frameworks, water catchment systems, regenerative agriculture systems, soil biology, plant communities and feedback loops and much much more. This course will give you a solid grounding to align your life with a deeper purpose with the intention of actively participating in bringing about change.
This course is especially interesting to you if you are not yet ready to commit to a full 72 hour permaculture design course but want some exposure to the basic principles and design processes enabling you to co-create your own designs and be able to confront challenges with variable solutions. It is also a good way for anyone who is considering or looking for other specialist courses within the same context. Or if you are genuinely interested in properly diagnosing the causes of the current crises and looking at meaningful ways in which to respond and make a change. New relationships, new friends and connections to organizations and networks who have the same concerns and motivations as you.
