Grew up on South Hill, Washington and quickly abandoned ship after high school, Joined the Marine Corps and traveled to many countries. Came to realize that the military was not the right place for me and returned to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Attended community college and finished BA from Pacific Lutheran University in Environmental Studies and Ecology.

I came to permacutlure through community outreach efforts by Sustainable Tacoma Pierce, Kelda Miller, and Starhawk.

Presently my family and I are living in a intentional house in Parkland WA, a 3.5 minute bike ride from my work. We are continuously improving the systems at this site as well as reaching out to our local community to create the alternative food and support systems we hope to see in the future. Actively trying to bring more permaculture concepts into our neighborhood.and higher education at Pacific Lutheran University and beyond. Also helping with the planning and implementation of the Tacoma Food Forest at Swan Creek Park.
