I have been working with permaculture since the early 1990's.
I first became interested in permaculture whilst studying at the East West Centre in London, in the late 1980's.
I was introduced to the teachings of George Oshawa and Michio Kushi on the patterns found in nature and the corresponding patterns found in the human body. I also became aware at this time of the many cycles of change that occur universally and constantly.
My interest in patterns and cycles of change began, and I am still studying this fascinating subject.
I studied permaculture with some friends from the East West Centre in 1990 on the PDC with Andy Langford and Simon Pratt.
Since then, I have continued to update myself with PDC's from Peppi Gauci (dry land permaculture Malta) and recently with Geoff Lawton's excellent on-line course.
I was awarded the Dipoloma in Applied Permaculture Design in 1997 as a pioneer assisting with the development of the early UK diploma process led by Andy Langford's Permaculture Academy (Britain).
I am now working with diploma support at the Northern School of Permaculture and with the Permaculture Institute of North Britain, where I am a-founder member.
