My name is Tricia Dignon, I live in zone 6b and have been gardening for a few years. Currently, I am looking to complete my PDC by fall 2014. I'm hoping to find like-minded individuals through permaculture worldwide, to work with and learn from.
I became interested in permaculture almost immediately after learning about it. I love that permaculture design can minimize the Energy input and maximize energy output for a garden system. Reading about permaculture ethics has also inspired me to integrate them into my life. This is not only a course of study, but a way of learning, a way of living.
My present permaculture activities include building a home sheltered greenhouse, as well as a small scale food forest outside of my community garden. My partner is a member/owner of a permaculture workers guild, so I've been learning through observation of his projects as well. When I finish my PDC, I will use it to employ myself as a permaculture designer.
