From Western Australia originally, have lived all over WA and a few other places around the world. First became interested in gardening as a way to produce my own food to avoid nasty chemicals from supermarket food.

Became interested in permaculture while living in Shark Bay WA as traditional gardening in that extremely hot dry climate is not easy! Also because it is a whole system towards self sufficiency and independence.

Now we own a block in Ravensthorpe WA (still a hot dry place, but less so!) and having completed an online PDC with Geoff Lawton I have the confidence to start putting it all into practice.
