I have been studying sustainable and organic landscaping and farming since graduating from the University of Florida with a BS in Agriculture in 1979. We manage a diversified direct to consumer organic farm since 1999 producing vegetable, poultry, dairy and beef cows, honey, earthworms, pigs, and other products. I am a soil consultant working with Neal Kinsey using the Albrecht method of analysis. My sons and I also run an organic based residential landscape business where we get opportunities to transition monoculture lawns and landscapes into permaculture systems. We build pergolas, arbors, decks, patios, outdoor structures including kitchens, and most anything built from wood and stone.
