I'm currently a 23 year old perpetual kid from the Northern suburbs of Chicagoland. I'm currently homesteading a 23 acre property in SW Wisconsin and trying to figure out what kind of business I should go into.
I found permaculture on reddit.com after becoming infatuated with cob houses and natural buildings. I've always had that natural affinity for the outdoors.
I'm currently involved in Geoff Lawton's online PDC and practicing the first half of the first principle on my property, observation. Also weighing my options as far as what business path to pursue, currently considering a for-profit edible landscaping consulting, starting an educational non-profit with an aim of converting my 23 acres to a 23 acre permaculture research institiute or kickstarting a housing co-operative in line with the three permaculture ethics.
