A resident of Pensacola. FL, USA Tom Garner earned his Permaculture Design Certificate from Geoff Lawton of the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia in 2000 in Minden, Louisiana. Tom and his wife, Renée Perry, are currently converting their recently acquired ¼ acre suburban lot into their own Permaculture paradise.
Tom and Renée are the owners of East Hill Edible Gardening which specializes in Permaculture education, consultation, and design. Tom and Renée have an extensive knowledge of Southeastern United States and Gulf Coast edible plant and animal species, soils, climate, natural systems, etc. Tom and Renée teach a highly successful series of Permaculture gardening and homesteading classes. They also offer Permaculture consultation services specializing in zone 1 design.
