I am a long time gardener, food preserver and a textile & watercolour artist. I have often felt that I was born out of time, I should have been a farmer at the turn of the century! I have always been interested in environmental activities, especially where I can practically impact my home, neighbourhood and workspaces.
In searching to extend my experience and influence beyond my own yard, I found that Permaculture meets my core needs: to provide for those I love, to help others do the same, to be as environmentally positive as possible and develop a network of like-minded souls. To work with a team towards a goal on a project brings great satisfaction, especially when the result is a better life for mother earth and the client.
My working career has afforded extensive experience with project planning & management; developing, writing & facilitating training, cross function communication with partners in many cultures and disciplines. So armed, my goal is to humbly forward the repair of the earth, one plot at a time, and help others toward a secure future.
A garden grows more than food and flowers. Read how one workplace has influenced others to "get growing" with their coworkers!
