After spending years growing veggies in container gardens, I now finally have a home in town where I can put gardens in the ground. Last year while taking classes in Horticultural Science, I came across the idea of Permaculture and haven't looked back since! This past summer was my first PDC, and my personal plan is to implement some micro-swales and small space garden principles at home so I can see how much food and product can be produced on an average suburban lot in this climate.
