I became interested in permaculture through the horticultural society in Calgary, where they offered informative evenings meetings about various permaculture initiatives in different parts of the world.

Having always been captivated by the concept of sustainability, permaculture rang all the bells to get me interested and motivated to study and practice the principles of this way of living.

My husband and I have just moved from a standard city lot in Calgary to a challenging 1 acre property in Madeira Park, British Columbia, where we are converting a low maintenance, no food production property into a food forest that takes full advantage of the property's unique characteristics.
