I'm a teacher (kinfergarten). I graduate as a psychologist, and one day I had a job interview at a school. They hired me, and I feel in love with the environment and all the possibilities that a school can offer the children. I even started studying education, and will have my education degree on december! iuhu!
I'm also involved with nature issues, like water treatment, gardening, composting, and try to do my best involving the children and other teacher as well!
I have experience working only at private schools, but my dream is to help children that don't have this opportunity, and also to help them seeing the nature, the culture, people around them, as part as the school environment, and not only something separate from them.
Here in São Paulo we plant with the children only if it's part of a project, not as a part of life. The culture is brought by the children, daily, but is not seen as a important part of their lives.
When I had contact with permaculture, I found a way of life that I believe. I would like to work with permaculture and children!
I'm trying to find a place/project that I really believe on, that involves permaculture and education.
