I'm the founder of Get Dirty NYC!, a new nonprofit connecting volunteers with hands-on projects at NYC's gardens and farms that are in need of the extra help. New Yorkers who want to get more involved in the urban growing movement will have the opportunity to get their hands in the dirt, learn skills and connect with their communities while helping to nurture our city's green spaces and support worthy organizations.
