Born in the mountains of NC. Became a carpenter and built houses for 12 years. Then, went back to college and got two degrees in Computer Science. Moved to NYC and worked in the financial industry for 18 years. Discovered I had Lyme Disease which started me on an agonizing journey to get well.

From this illness I found out more than I ever wanted to know about living in the 'matrix' i.e. modern civilization. I decided to move back to the mountains with the intent to only eat food I grow. This is how I happily stumbled across Geoff Lawton's videos.

I am designing and developing my 2 acres at the moment. I decided to get certified mostly to help me with this project. If I can learn and donate this precious knowledge to others that will be a bonus. As I have learned the more you give the more you get so spreading this gift will be integral.
