My background is in environmental studies and landscape architecture. I graduated from the University of Oregon and now live in Portland working in the food industry. I take pride in cooking with quality ingredients and I am always trying to figure out ways in which to improve local food systems in order to make quality ingredients more accessible.
I am member of the Urban Farm Collective based in Portland, OR. I love learning how to grow organic/sustainable food and have aspirations of running/owning my own farming operation. The main reason why I am interested in permaculture is due to my interest in getting involved with improving local food systems as well as setting an example for the future of where our food comes from.
