I have been interested in PC since 1994, when I finished my PDC. In 1996, I took Permaculture treachers training. I started to learn permaculture teaching during several PDC courses in Slovakia with Geroge Sobol and my father, Karol Koncko, who had been known as a pioneer of permaculture in Czechoslovakia. I was given a PC diploma in 2002.

I am a professional landscape architect, so I design permaculture plots, gardens. I teach PC courses as a main teacher. I work for Slovak association of permaculture. Many years I used to be a chairman of the association. We were organizing e.g. three European permaculture Convergences /1998, 2002, 2006/. One of my greatest adventures in permaculture was the visit of Brazil during the International permaculture convergence in 2007.

Nowadays, I mostly work as a consultant and a designer for community gardens, school gardens, private pc projects and natural gardens. I teach courses, write articles and represent association on different conferences.
