(projects i'm involved in)
After graduating from UNB Fredericton with a BA in literature and Latin, I continued my education outside university. I became involved in activism, being one of the main coordinators of Occupy in Fredericton, then began pursuing the creation of an ecovillage. I view this as the primary end goal to everything I am doing in permaculture.
Now that I have completed my basic PDC, I will be spending a few years working on projects for my applied diploma portfolio. These projects are expected to include: straw bale construction, an experiment to increase soil fertility using only chopping and dropping plants, the creation of permaculture training software for VR (and 2D computer screens), work in wild edibles, organizing and contributing to a bioregional resource index, a permaculture plot in a community garden, and creating an urban food forest.
