Teacher of Permaculture for Children

I'm an environmental educator and sustainability education consultant with GreenHeart Education. I work with teachers around the world who want to green their classrooms, curricula and school communities. I'm a published writer and editor, as well.

My students and I created the garden at our local school, and we learned some permaculture concepts and principles together. I'm also a climate change activist. Frankly, the promise of permaculture is the only thing that gets me out of bed some mornings.

And I can spell. Unfortunately, this means I'll never be a great permaculture designer because I can't "see" in three dimensions. (By contrast, a lot of designers don't claim spelling as a forté.) But it does mean that I'm a great editor! (The problem is the solution. ;-)

So my intention in this field is to become a permaculture EDITOR. Let me know if you need help with the editing of a permaculture publication, a design rationale or a project write-up. Good writing enhances credibility and communication, which will help spread the permaculture message.
