My partner and I started our small holding in 2014 after moving to Bulgaria from the UK. My background is varied, but I have worked in engineering, whole foods, as a chef, and as a teacher.

I got interested in permaculture years ago after reading 'Forest Gardening' by Robert Hart, but have never had the opportunity or the time to develop ideas and research.

We are now learning about permaculture, and hope to be able to design our land around permaculture methods. We only have a little land, 1/2 acre, but we aim to be self-sufficient.
