I'm a founder of the Permavillages projects, which intends to combine Permaculture Design Principles with other influences aiming at transforming society towards a more decentralized and collaborative culture. The first of our projects is La Décentrale, up on Mont-Soleil in the Swiss Jura mountains. While agricultural permaculture is of course an important part of our activities, the La Décentrale project has a strong emphasiis on the socio-political and economic aspects of applying permaculture principles in society at large.
