I have been learning and experimenting with permaculture over the last couple of years. I did a great Edible Forest Garden course with Dave Jacke and then a PDC with Milkwood. I have since then been setting up a big experiment on our land aiming to be self sufficient.

Prior to this I was a yoga teacher and helped manage a yoga centre. I now find that I get my main spiritual inspiration from nature and growing things, taking care of animals etc.

At our house we host wwoofers and through this I informally teach people as I learn! We have native bees, honey bees, chooks, a big aquaponic system including a converted swimming pool. I grow most of my plants from seed. So far we feed the six people in our house and our family in the two houses next door, with most of our veg......still getting fruit sorted!
