I am a lifetime environmental and social activist with a deep love for and appreciation of nature. My professional background is primarily as a filmmaker/media producer, and as an educator on topics ranging from martial arts to documentary production. I have a degree in International Relations and History.

My work in environment and social justice led me on a quest for the root causes of the problems we are seeing. These problems being systemic, a subsequent search for solutions brought me to permaculture, a design philosophy that makes sense.

I took a PDC as a first step and am currently engaged in expanding that knowledge base through further education and field work.
