I studied Architecture and Spatial planning at the University of Karlsruhe (M.Sc.).
After reading Derrick Jensen's Work (Endgame 1&2) in 2011 i decided to commit my life to permaculture.
Currently i'm engaged in building up a larger movement of permies in Heidelberg, Germany, and working on strategies to spread the word & knowledge of permaculture most effectively. I own a small parcel of land (1700m²) where i dig ponds, build hugelculture beds, set up small human habitats, plant trees and raise chickens.
The longer i think about permaculture, the more i come to see it as a new movement for peace. Agricultural society is accompanied by violence, colonialism, genocides and environmental destruction since it started around 10.000 years ago, and there is no end in sight.
Permaculture finally offers the chance for peace.
