Jeff Allen has worked with the distillation of essential oils and processing of herbs for over 20 years. The core areas of his business are the design and manufacturing of distillation units and associated equipment for processing of plant extracts specialising in the distillation of sandalwood, essential oils and processing of herbs. Jeff is involved in the development of businesses, mostly in remote locations, based on processing natural products, with expertise in machinery and marketing. In the past he has supplied the USA’s largest herbal tea company (Traditional Medicinals) with Lemon Myrtle leaf grown by farmers in Northern NSW. He has worked with Papua New Guinea Agriculture to improve quality processing of Pyrethrum. He has built, designed and commissioned equipment in Western Australia, Croatia, Indonesia and Fiji. Currently Jeff is working with sandalwood producers on the island of Erromango in Vanuatu to distil sandalwood oil, cold press virgin coconut and tamanu oil and to assist growers to diversify into planting annual crops of essential oils and herbs.
