Peter Tan has wide ranging business and professional experiences through his career spanning more than 30 years. He participated in the education, automotive, manufacturing, and business consultancy industries. His various positions held include the following: Director of Engineering Schools, Principal of School, CEO of a sports car manufacturing company, Senior Strategist, and Senior VP.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Engineering from University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He also has an MBA from the University of Malaya.

He has a unique combination of skills sets in engineering, management, education, training and consulting. His wide range of experiences included manufacturing, project management, sales and marketing and general management at senior levels.

He was also involved in nine start ups including a hand-built sports car manufacturing company, a highly successful private and school and the renown UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre. He also designed and pioneered the Blue Ocean Strategy MBA program and was its founding Program Director.

He is a certified Blue Ocean Strategy Practitioner and has consulted and trained many companies , MNCs and government agencies in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region

Peter has started a small scale farm and is keen to practice permaculture principles in the farm.
