I have been a thriving and enthusiastic Permaculturist and natural builder since completing my PDC in 2010. Following this I was an active urban Permaculturist; designing and implementing a variety of community gardens and leading natural building and gardening workshops in the UK. Before discovering Permaculture I spent 5 years studying Fine Art; Sculpting. I love to apply these artistic skills to create beautiful buildings and structures from earth, specialising in adobe, cob and earthbags. Having now completed 6 house builds, project managing 4 of these, I am always excited to pass on my knowledge and inspire and empower others to re-connect with the earth, make positive changes and become more self-reliant. I have recently moved on from the Panya Project, a Permaculture Education Center and thriving Permaculture farm in Northern Thailand. I worked for 3 years as the Natural Building Manager and a farm coordinator teaching numerous PDC’s, hands-on Permaculture and Natural Building Courses. I am currently travelling, with my husband Kyle Smith and our young daughter, to check out other projects around the world, run courses and workshops and look for our own little piece of land in Portugal. Myself and my husband are available for Permaculture and natural building consultations and ground level implementation and management.
