Devoted father to Lexi (5) and Ava (3) and loving husband to Erica. I have been fascinated with the natural world since childhood and have always believed that all the world's issues could be solved by taking our cues from nature.
Permaculture and aquaponics revealed themselves to me about 10 years ago while living in a small apartment in South Philadelphia. Once I became better educated in the principals of sustainable food production, I knew I had found my life's calling. Since then I have owned an aquaponic driven restaurant in the Florida Keys, applied permaculture design to my hostel in Panama and finally earned degrees in Environmental Studies and Agroecology from Florida International University in Miami, FL.
Along the way i have interned at permaculture farms, aided in conservation and restoration projects and built several successful aquaponic systems. One such system was the basis for my senior thesis at FIU.
Having returned to the Northeast, I have co-founded, along with two permaculturist friends, a sustainability network called AquaPermaPolyculture. Our mission is to spread the philosophy and practices of permaculture to people from all walks of life, in any living situation.
