Luciano Amarelo
Young Permaculture Designer
Artistic director, actor and multi-disciplinar teacher, he was born in 1977 in Guarda (PT). He trained himself at the Ecole des maîtres, the Jacques Lecoq school, the Rose Bruford College in London (UK) and at the Academia Contemporânea do Espectáculo in Porto (PT).
As an actor, he worked with different companies and director at the National Theatre of São João in Porto (PT) and at the Teatro Meridional (physical and clonwesque theatre) in Lisboa (PT).
He created and performed several multi-disciplinary shows such as Butterfly Blues (danse theatre) directed by Doriane Moretus in 1999 which received the price of the critic and public at the Rencontres Charles Dullin in Paris.
According to his multi-disciplinary experience, he created in Porto « Terra na Boca », a cultural non profit organization for which he’s in charge of the programmation and the artistic direction.
Within this structure, he also directs his own performances.
He founded « Project » a structure dedicated to the production of theatre for the city theatre of Guarda (PT) and « Corda Bamba », a non profit organization for circus.
