I lived in the United States for most of my life, which is where I earned my bachelors in Biology and Education. After teaching science in different states for five years. My last teaching job was in Oregon, which is where I uncovered my passion for food growing and fruit harvesting.
Moving to the "arctic" from the temperate climate of Oregon, made me sad to think how much food production we were missing out on until I discovered permaculture shortly after moving. Every free talk that was given regarding permaculture, I was there. My passion for learning was growing and finally came to a head when i knew I needed to dive in to the Permaculture Design Certificate Course.
Intentions for the future include repairing our large inner city lot from large wooden decks and an RV pad to productive and low maintenance annual vegetable growing space as well as installing a food woodland. I am currently working on developing course material to teach children about permaculture principles and teaching homesteading skills to adults.
