I have worked as a Landscape Designer for twelve years in the Central Texas region and specialize in sustainable and edible landscape solutions using native and adapted plants. I have a Bachelor's in Government from the University of Texas Austin, an Associate's in Landscape Design, the Permaculture Designer Certification, and am a Licensed Irrigator in Texas.
I am active outside of my company with other endeavors such as starting the New Day Community Garden in East Austin, giving lectures on eco-friendly landscapes, co-founded TRUE Action, a non-profit that helps educate and feed students in Uganda, and organized a Sustainability Symposium for the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. I have developed curriculum and taught classes on Landscape Design for Can Academy, The Austin Permaculture Design Institute, and teach vegetable gardening and lead volunteer efforts to beautify schools such as The UT Lab School, St. Andrews, The Discovery School, Maplewood Elementary, and Andrew’s Elementary.
I currently lives in Smithville and am starting an agroforestry farm.
