I've been involved in permaculture in one way or another for 30 years now. I've been at this property on the NSW north coast for 6-7 years, with a particular interest in water conservation, food forest establishment and rainforest regeneration. I am self employed, working in building design, landscape design, environmental assessment and waste water. I'd like more people to come along and ask me to do some really juicy projects which combine all these fields in a holistic, permaculture solution.
Most of what I've learnt has been in the field - observing nature, growing plants, building or travelling to see what other people do. Plenty of people arent impressed by such a resume and need to know that I've formally trained in architecture, horticulture, permaculture, organic farming and environmental science.
There has become a need locally for low cost, practical permaculture training. My project for 2018 is to develop mobile classes for max. 8 people (2 car loads), $35/day, spending most of our time on site at demonstration gardens or the students site.
I don't do any social media but am interested in other permaculture people and what they're up to.
