(projects i'm involved in)
We are a family of 4 members, two adults and two children younger than 5 years. Always accompanied by European project volunteers or a wwoofer.
We live in a tourist lodge with 10 bedrooms and 3 huts typical of the region.
We manage the hostel and the farmland area around it, orchard and food forest, which feed us and part of the farm, the surplus is distributed. There are 4 donkeys that help us with work and that are accompanied by pigs, chickens, cows and sheep.
We intend, embracing the philosophy and principles of permaculture, to create a small community that is connected, updated, self-managed, self-sufficient, responsible, aware of the time and place we live. Convey experiences by organizing meetings and events, collaborating with the nearest localities, showing what we do and sharing it through a closer, more personal and experiential education, empowering and dignifying rural areas and their people, re-educating and opening new job opportunities, creating possibility of socio-economic changes, increase the social critical mass of rural areas by generating a network of producers / consumers and related groups which is connected with urban areas and giving them real access to good quality, local and healthy products and services, offering a new type of tourism, all of that while developing solvent rural projects.
