Kirby got his PDC in 2010 from Jesse Lemieux. He's now part of a group that's working to expand the knowledge and use of permaculture in Saskatchewan. He has almost finished his study for his Prairie Horticulture Certificate, and plans to move on to a certificate in Adult and Continuing Education after that
