Francisco Andrés Batres has a Permaculture Designer diploma certificate issued by The Permaculture Research Institute (PRI) of Australia lead by Geoff Lawton. He has also studied Industrial Engineer in El Salvador, Central America.

He has developed a Permacultural Center that operates in the cities of Otavalo and Cuenca in Ecuador where training is managed and promoted in several areas on re-generative design at the urban and rural level. Courses, seminars, workshops, talks and meetings are also offered in various branches of permaculture: bio-construction, agro-ecology, jungle orchard, ethical water management, appropriate technologies, conducting various bio-fairs and cultural events linked to Transitional and Permaculture Initiatives

Francisco Andrés Batres tiene un certificado de Diseñador de Permacultura expedido por el Instituto de Investigación de La Permacultura (PRI) de Australia liderado por Geoff Lawton. También ha cursado la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en El Salvador, Centroamérica.

Ha desarrollado un Centro Permacultural que opera en las Ciudades de Otavalo y Cuenca en Ecuador donde se gestiona y promueve formación en varias áreas sobre diseño re-generativo a nivel urbano y rural. También se brindan cursos, seminarios, talleres, charlas y encuentros en varias ramas de la permacultura: bio-construcción, agro-ecología, huerta jungla, manejo ético del agua, tecnologías apropiadas, realizando varias bio-ferias y eventos culturales ligados a las Iniciativas de Transición y de Permacultura.
